- Flight Conditions: Withstand expected worst-case flight loads and desert temperatures while remaining low weight.
Contributions
Using SolidWorks, I designed the electronic component housing to integrate within the rocket’s geometric and structural constraints. I leveraged FDM printing to enabled rapid prototyping and design flexibility with selecting ABS for its 212°F glass transition temperature, providing sufficient thermal resistance for the expected operating environment.
